What if Apollo Landed on Earth?

There are many different events occurring leading up to the 40th anniversary of the Apollo landing on the moon, one of which is New Scientist’s creation of Google Earth files that overlay the exploration areas on popular world cities.  This gives a good perspective of how much area they covered.  I really was surprised to see that Apollo 17 covered so much ground.  Here is the Google Earth Blog description and links.
