Force Excel Spreadsheets to Open in Different Windows
As many of you know, when you open multiple Excel Spreadsheets, they have a tendency to open in the same window, so if you have multiple monitors, you cannot have each spreadsheet on a different monitor, because they are in the same window. Of course, you can always open Excel on both monitors, and then position the spreadsheets in their own window within Excel, but that is not the best way.
One way to force Excel to open in different windows is to use the Send to submenu when you right-click of the file name. To add Excel to the Send to menu, just go to C:\Documents and Settings\username\SendTo and add a shortcut to Excel. Then, instead of opening the file, just right-click on the Excel spreadsheet and select Send to, and then click on Excel.
