iPhone Stuff
Favorite iPhone Software
Star Walk: Easy to use and very handy for those clear evenings when you are gazing at the heavens and wondering exactly what you are viewing, or for finding specific bodies. Usually $4.99, but sometimes on sale for $2.99 in the app store. There is also a Windows Mobile version.
The Weather Channel: Much better than the built in weather app.
Toodledo: Todo - task manager that is web-based and also syncs with Outlook.
Amazon Mobile: Looking at electronics, sports gear, or other items in a store and wonder what it sells for on Amazon? Put this app on your phone and make looking up the products much quicker than doing it through the iPhone's Safari browser.
Flashlight: Turns your iPhone into a flashlight and its free. Surprisingly useful for me. Search for it in the App Store. The screen above is for changing the settings. I use the bright white light.
Last.fm: I use this on my laptop quite a bit when I want some background music. Same thing here, except now you can create your own radio station and stream live over the 3G network.
Remote Desktop Lite: Free Remote Desktop access with your iPhone. Not good for actual working on your desktop, but works in a pinch.
Solitaire City: I am totally addicted to Klondike in Solitaire City. There is a lite, free version as well as a paid version with more version of solitaire. Daily, Weekly and all-time Champs scoring is kept for players all over the world. Look for Tom K - thats me.

Night Stand: How about a travel alarm with big numbers for your nightstand when traveling? Its free.
