- Netvibes is a great web-based RSS reader. My personal favorite, as of this writing is the Google Reader.
- Check out Woot daily for a deal a day. If you see flashing lights, you visited when they do a "Woot-Off", where they offer items back-to-back as they sell them out. It is not unusual for a Woot-Off to last more than a day. As the meter moves, just press F5 on your keyboard to refresh to see what is next.
- Giveaway of the Day offers commercial software for free. You must download and install the day it is offered.
- Look for the best deal on a product using Pricegrabber. Be sure and put in the exact model number that you are searching for to save time. Google's Froogle is also good.
- TechSoup.org - Great site for non-profits. Software from Microsoft, Symantec and others at greatly discounted prices, some for just a small admin fee.
