This ranks right up there with the gold plated Monster Cables. Perhaps you should just stick some rinestones on a regular CAT5 cable and give the $495 to charity because you'll get exactly the same performance.
If you really want better performance get a CAT6 cable with more twists but honestly you're not going to tell the difference unless you're pushing 10Gbps. Get some cheap CAT5 and SAVE YOUR MONEY. This is a total sham.
